While many eyes are cast over the Sydney with the Australian Derby Day, the Morphettville Racecourse is hosting the illustrious Australian Oaks Day as part of the highly anticipated Adelaide Autumn Racing Carnival.
Taking place as the penultimate of eight races on Saturday, the 2010 SA Oaks will see 14 three-year-old fillies compete, and dominating the odds is Ipioga at $3.

Despite drawing barrier 11, the Flemington-based filly is favourite and with the recent third-place finish in the Group 1 Australasian Oaks (2006m) last month.
Gallant Lady, trained by Lee Freedman is another strong contender after drawing the coveted inside barrier and is at $6.
Danaupair Starlet, Legislature and Ar Dan are all equal in the odds at $7.50, while Exceptionally from Stawell could be an underdog at $9.
Rounding out the odds for the 2010 South Australian Oaks is Emeald at $101, and the filly could provide a lucrative payout if she manages to secure an unexpected win for the risky wagerer.
Also taking place on Saturday at the Morphettville Racecourse will be the Group 3 SAJC Sires Produce Stakes (1400m).
